Alliance Update: Deathbringer’s Rise 🏆

Our teammate Deathbringer has been on fire lately: raising his tag from 13K to 17K in just a few weeks. An incredible performance that shows his dedication and skill.

Interestingly, Deathbringer also noticed that the tag blocking mechanism seems to be gone. At 13K tags, he was already seeing and raiding bases with 14K tags in his enemy list. Perhaps Mr.Salep from 505 took note of our blog and made some adjustments.

Great work and congrats, Deathbringer! With you in the alliance, we now have a strong chance to face ranked players, bringing tougher challenges, more supplies, and bigger rewards. That’s exactly what we’re aiming for.

The Ducks alliance is no longer weak. We now have more ranked warriors like Deathbringer, and we’re ready to take on top alliances and claim victory.

Welcome back M A K I S I M

This Christmas season brings us not only joy and celebration, but also the honor of welcoming General: M A K I S I M back to our team.

As we gather in the spirit of unity and gratitude, let’s celebrate both the festive season and the strength of leadership returning to guide us.

Merry Christmas to all, and let’s look forward to a bright new chapter together.

Tactical Question: Can 4 Maxed Artillery Strikes Clear These Zone?

Artillery Strike is a favorite tool among top-ranked players. It seems to become significantly more effective at higher levels. From what I’ve observed, pros use it primarily to clear out Jeep clusters, Rifleman groups from gunboats, Rocket Launchers, or tight clusters of defensive buildings.

The Artillery Strike has a 3-yard damage radius, affecting all units within that range. I’m looking for advice from our gurus who have a maxed-out Artillery Strike (340 damage). I am calculating that 4 strikes * 350 damage = 1,400 total damage. Will this be enough to clear the units in the red circle, or do some buildings have higher HP than that?

My question is: If I launch 4 Artillery Strikes exactly on the red crosshairs shown in the images below, will the combined damage be enough to flatten every unit and building inside the red circle?

Drop 3 to 4 Artillery Strikes to maximize damage against nearby structures. The image highlights two ideal target locations.

Can we flatten a big Camp, an A-A gun, a machine gun, and a howitzer using four artillery strikes in the next image?

Wow, this design is a huge mistake. Placing two AA guns and an Airfield this close together is a gift! Is it worth four artillery strikes? Absolutely

How about this? The Gun Turret, AA gun, Howitzer, and Machine Gun are positioned in a series, making them a high-value target for our strategy.

Advanced Artillery Tactics

Finally, I see the most difficult artillery strategies, requiring perfect timing and precision:

  • The Defensive Trap: Trigger the Camp alarm then lure all enemy units toward a cluster of defensive buildings. Once they are grouped up, unleash all four artillery strikes to wipe out the units and the structures simultaneously.
  • The Naval Ambush: Bait enemy gunboats into passing over a suspected minefield. Just as they cross, rain down artillery little by little to detonate the mines and sink the entire fleet

Maybe I’m missing something, but I’ve seen top-ranked players use only three Artillery Strikes to flatten the same targets I mentioned. What’s the secret here? I'd love to hear your advice, warriors!

A huge thank you to DEATHBRINGER, one of our alliance gurus, for reviewing this post and answering my questions in the alliance chat. Your expertise is priceless! I haven’t seen this explained anywhere else on the internet.
I asked for his permission to share these insights here, so the rest of the alliance and the global community can benefit.

The bottom line:
Once Artillery Strike is maxed out, each hit deals 350 damage. This means three strikes are guaranteed to take down any units within the red crosshairs.

DUCKS Alliance Announcement!

We’re excited to welcome three warriors into the flock:

  • CANDY CANE
  • GEN WARFARE PH
  • DEATHBRINGER

CANDY CANE and GEN WARFARE PH are already battle-tested veterans. In the last war, they showed their skill by landing 6 stars and 5 stars against the toughest players from the Airbone Combat Team. That’s the kind of firepower we love to see and apply to the team!

DEATHBRINGER isn’t just joining. He’s returning. A true legend of DUCKS, he flew around for a while but is now considering a comeback to support us again. Having him back feels like welcoming family.

We’re more than happy to have these three warriors with us. Honestly, wins and losses come and go, but what matters is the fun, the teamwork, and the friendships we build along the way. We hope DUCKS continues to be a place where they’ll want to stay, fight, laugh, and grow with us for as long as they wish.

Welcome aboard warriors! Let’s make some noise together!

Want to Get Rich Fast? Adjust Your Tags to 3K!

Hey all warriors, greetings from DUCKS 🦆!

I just pulled off a successful reset of my tags from 13K back down to 3K. For context: 505 bumped me to 13K as compensation for the reset glitch, which gave me a chance to scout bases across the global range. Here’s what I found:
  • At 13K tags: Only a few rich bases, but some had  more than 1M supplies (plenty of abandoned bases there)
  • At 6K tags: Same story, occasional rich bases, but not consistent.
  • At 3K tags: This is the sweet spot! At my CB8 and CB9 level, I’m seeing way more rich bases, with loot ranging from 500K up to 1.8M supplies.
I stitched together screenshots before raiding into one overall image. You may see plenty of juicy bases, though not every single one made it into the collage.

If your base shows up in the image, my apologies (LOL)… feel free to raid me back anytime!

P/S: There’s also an old post showing tips on how to farm supplies. Lets check it out!

Upgrade Strategies w/ Doc recommendation

❓ Have you ever ended up with too expensive cost for upgrading.

❓ Your daily enemies are too strong and too hard for your level, even that they have the same Command Bunker level as your.

❓Are you searching for the best methods to

👇
If so, this post is for you.

DOC's Recommendation

First, I'm thrilled to share a suggestion from Mabel, a junior accounts of DOC (yes, a doctor!) who has impressively reached level 355 with a staggering 104,000 tags. That’s right: one hundred and four thousand! Unbelievable, right? I had a chance to chat with his both accounts on global, and he kindly gave me permission to share this with all of you:

Of course, it is a short recommendation as DOC was not going to write a book using that global chat. Let me explain more in this post.

Acknowledge What Can Be Upgraded

There are 6 types of units and structures you can upgrade in total:

  1. Offensive houses - Upgrade Barracks, Shipyards, and Hangars... to maximize your unit count.

  2. Defensive houses - Strengthen your defenses by upgrading machine guns, sea forts...

  3. Special Units - Enhance elite units like the Ranger and Hunter for tactical advantages.

  4. Cash houses - Your resource (supplies) generation such as Factories, Rigs, and the Airdrop.

  5. Promotion - Promote your units to higher levels for increased firepower and efficiency.

  6. Command Bunker - Upgrade the main Command Bunker to reach to the next level.

Oh my god! There are at least 38 units and structures that can be upgraded in total and completing them all can take several years (if you don't pay). The upgrade times are long, no doubt, but trust me: some veterans say the game actually gets boring once everything is maxed out. As @DOC pointed out, base building and upgrading are truly the best parts of the game.

You’ll likely begin with a basic base layout, like the one shown in the screenshot. The question is: Which items should you prioritize upgrading first? keep reading for the answer 👀

Battle Islands: 6 Essential Strategies for Victory

I’m excited to share 6 strategies I discovered after several years of playing this game. I originally wrote them for my alliance, DUCKS, but I’m happy to share them with everyone. These strategies might work differently depending on your play style, and of course, there’s no guarantee. Ha ha 😁! Still, I encourage you to give them a try.

Strategy 1: Buy engineers as much as possible

Engineers are the backbone of your base development. They can upgrade houses, expand your army, and strengthen your defensive units. The more engineers you have, the faster you can upgrade and progress, giving you a huge advantage in battle. Although engineers are expensive, it’s worth saving gold to invest in them whenever possible. By default, you can recruit up to five engineers, but paying players can unlock an additional one for even greater efficiency. Remember, while special units like Rangers and Hunters can upgrade themselves, engineers are essential for accelerating the growth of your entire base, so prioritize buying them as much as you can.

Strategy 2: Upgrade What Brings You Supplies

@DOC is absolutely right: your first focus should be upgrading Factories, Rigs, and AirDrops (Supply Drops). These structures generate free supplies continuously. For example, at my CB-8 level, a single Factory or Rig can produce at least 50K supplies per day.

However, keep in mind that these passive sources alone won’t be enough. Even with 5 upgraded Factories, 3 Rigs, and 1 Air-Drop, you’d only collect more or lesser than 450K supplies daily: far short of the 2M supplies needed just to upgrade a small wall.

That’s why the real key to growth is simple: Raiding and Looting. This is the core of the game. To maximize your supply gains, you must raid other bases regularly. And to raid effectively, your offensive power must come first.

Top Upgrade Priorities: Focus on strengthening your offensive units and buildings before anything else.

  • Upgrade your offensive houses: Comms Centre / Barracks / Hangars / Shipyards
  • Promote your favorite offensive units: Rifleman, Mortarman, Tanks, Gunboats, and Bombers...
  • Promote your special units that serve both offensive and defensive units: Ranger and Hunter

(JPDUCK from DUCKS Alliance)

With stronger forces, your daily raids and war efforts will yield far more supplies than passive collection ever could. Securing 500K+ worth of resources per raid is an excellent strategy for maximizing supply intake and dramatically speeding up your base development.

Strategy 3: Upgrade The Command Bunker at last

Remember, folks: don't rush into upgrading your Command Bunker!. Once you upgrade, you’ll move to a higher level and face stronger enemies there. Make sure your troops, defenses, and resources are fully prepared before stepping up. Advancing too soon can leave you vulnerable, so wait until everything is ready before making the leap. During upgrade the main Command Bunker, you have several days to update walls.

Strategy 4: Keep Your Engineers Busy and Keep boosting promotions 24/7

It’s not easy, but do your best to keep all Engineers busy with upgrades at all times. Meanwhile, make sure promotion boosts (10 gold in the Command Bunker) are running around the clock. Normally, promoting a tank can take 6 days, but with boosts you can cut that time down to just 3. Don’t forget: you also get a free promotion boost through the Daily Ration feature, so take advantage of it whenever possible.

Strategy 5: Complete the Campaign Mode

The Campaign mode offers a total of 30 missions, and it’s one of the best ways to earn both Experience and Supplies. The final mission is surprisingly easy and can reward you with up to 1M supplies. Even better, you can replay any mission as many times as you like until you’ve collected all the available supplies. Make sure to take full advantage of this feature to strengthen your base and troops.

Strategy 6: Keep your current supplies Low to Avoid Raids

A base with high supplies can attract enemies. They can loot up to 10% of what you hold. To minimize losses, keep your supplies as low as possible. LOL.

  • If you earn rewards after warfare, leave them unclaimed (for up to 24 hours) until you actually need them.
  • If your goal is 5M supplies to upgrade a barrack and you currently have 4.5M, don’t just sit, relax and wait. Instead, boost your factories, boost your army and raid even more bases to quickly reach that target.

Personal Note:

At the time of writing, my Command Bunker is still at level 8 but full upgraded. Salep from 505 reset pushed my tag to 13K, matching me against CB10 and maxed bases. Raids are tough. I often lose  but sometimes I grab a 1‑star win with big supplies. I’m now resetting my tag to 3K to rejoin my favorite average+ team. 🙂
