Let your current promotion boot finish completely.
Spend 10 gold or watch an ad to activate a new 24-hour boot in the Command Bunker.
Wait a few minutes to ensure it's active.
Now, go ahead and collect the Promotion Boot gift from your Daily Rations.
By doing this, you'll get another 24 hours on top of your new boot, giving you a total of 48 hours of promotion time!
