Dog tags - tips on Farming supplies

In Battle Islands, dog tags are a key ranking and matchmaking currency earned through combat victories.

Here’s how dog tags work in the game:

  • πŸͺ– Dog tags represent your combat success: You earn dog tags by winning attacks against other players. The amount gained depends on how decisive your victory is—typically ranging from 7 to 100 per win.
  • ⚔️ Used for matchmaking: Your dog tag count, along with your command bunker level, determines which opponents you can attack or be attacked by. Players are matched within similar dog tag ranges to ensure fair competition. The more dog tags you earn, the greater the challenges you’ll face.
  • πŸ† Collecting dog tags contributes to unlocking achievements such as “Tag Collector III,” which is awarded after accumulating 2,500 dog tags. Completing this milestone grants a reward of 450 gold.

Globally, many players believe that dog tags have little value and intentionally try to keep them as low as possible for an easy game. (If you're playing on Kindles, your dog tag count will be zero which can actually work to your advantage)

Today, I want to share a useful tip from my own experience one that might change how you think about dog tags. It’s all about adjusting your tags to fall within a range that lets you spot rich bases more easily. This is my personal strategy for farming supplies efficiently and building things up fast.

Previously, when my Command Bunker was at level 7 and my dog tags ranged from 3,700 to 3,900, I consistently saw enemy bases offering loot between 700,000 to 1,000,000 supplies.

After upgrading to Command Bunker level 8 while keeping my dog tags at 3,900, the enemy list mostly showed abandoned bases with only around 225,000 supplies, definitely not worth the effort.

However, when I lowered my dog tags to the range of 3,200 to 3,500, I started encountering richer bases again, with loot ranging from 500,000 to 1,400,000 supplies. That’s a solid reason to maintain my dog tags within that range for now.

Known Issues with Increasing Dog Tags

There’s also a known issue in the game: some senior players aim to raise their dog tags, but often get stuck at levels like 13,000 or 19,000. The problem is they can’t find strong bases with higher dog tags than their own, which limits progression.

Interestingly, @CandyHunter from DC3 shared that if you manage to push your dog tags above 30,000, you’ll start seeing enemies with even higher tags like 35,000 or even 50,000. It seems to break the usual matchmaking rules.

I saw a conflict on global chat yesterday where DOC complained that CandyHunter keeps raiding his base and draining his tags.

CandyHunter (Level 204 with 81K tags) is able to see and raid DOC (Level 355 with 104K tags). Although CandyHunter is a significantly lower level, he loots 60 tags per hit, while DOC only receives 12 tags for a retaliatory victory. This game logic is not fair and doesn't make sense to me given the level and tag disparity.

Proof in Pictures: Why You Can Trust What I Said"

So yes, dog tags are both a reflection of your battlefield strength and a key factor in determining your opponents. What should your dog tag level be? That’s entirely up to your strategy.

I can share some screenshots I captured from my game while playing at Command Bunker level 8 with around 3,200 dog tags.

DUCKS — Flying Together

It’s the weekend, and I want to take a moment to reflect and say thank you.

For the past three months, we’ve been flying together — playing, growing, and building something from almost zero. What started as a small squad has quickly become a powerful force. This is thanks not only to our own skill but to the incredible support from our 'heavy artillery' teammates who make it all possible.

This is DUCKS alliance 3 months ago

There’s an African proverb that says:

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

And that’s exactly what DUCKS is about. We’re not just flying,  we’re soaring as a team. We may face tough enemies, we may win or lose in the upcoming warfare, but whatever happens… it will be our story.

We might welcome even stronger friends into our flock ... or lose a pair of great wings. We might face challenges that test our wings. But together, we’ll keep flying.

Let’s make DUCKS a name that echoes across the global. Let’s grow it, shape it, and lift it together.

Wishing everyone good health and happiness especially to the @SP OO GE family. Thank you for being part of this journey. Wishing everyone all the best.

Weekend Vibes with DUCKS – Let’s Talk Flash Mobs!

Hey DUCKS! It’s the weekend, and I just had the most energizing start to my day thanks to two incredible performances that I couldn’t wait to share with you all.

First up: "Flash mobs" have you heard of them? They’re spontaneous public performances where a group suddenly assembles, performs, and disperses, often leaving behind a wave of joy and amazement. What makes them so fascinating is the teamwork: every individual plays a part, and together they create a unified, powerful sound. It’s like watching harmony in motion.

A thrilling percussion flash mob that explodes with rhythm and energy. Each beat feels like a heartbeat shared by the crowd—so alive, so connected!

Okay, This is not a flash mob but wow. Their studio performance is a masterclass in coordination and charm. Adorable, humorous, and perfectly in sync. It’s proof that when people collaborate with joy, magic happens.

These sounds somehow brought power to my morning and filled it with positivity. I hope they do the same for you.

Wishing everyone good health and a joyful weekend. Let’s keep playing as a team.

Different Country 3: consider yourselves defeated!

Team, we’re on the edge of a glorious win and I couldn’t be prouder of every one of you! Your focus, grit, and teamwork have brought us here. Let’s finish strong and celebrate like true champions.

πŸ”₯ And who did we just crush? DC3, ranked #7 on the leaderboard, stacked with players holding hundreds of tags. But this time, we blew them out of the water! Their veteran might jump into the next war fight just to save face. LOL.

They have 14 hours left to make it better but I assume they can do nothing. Let’s keep the momentum rolling. Victory tastes sweet when it’s earned together.

Salute Arnold

It’s a tough day for the team, our co-leader is leaving, and everyone feels the weight of that goodbye.

From my perspective, I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has joined and played alongside us. Some may have supported us for a short time, and every contribution matters. But you… you’re different. You’ve been with DUCK since day one, not just as a member, but as a co-leader. Your dedication, energy, and leadership have shaped this team in ways words can’t fully express.

Thank you doesn’t feel like enough. Your impact is truly invaluable.

My fingers have grown familiar with typing your name: @Arnold and I truly hope this isn’t the last time. You’ll always have a co-leader spot waiting for you here, whenever you decide to return. We’ll be here, hoping for that day to come.

Just in case you don't see my messages on global and in the alliance chat

Offensive tips from DEATHBRINGER

DEATHBRINGER, a colonel from DUCKS, who’s been with us since day one. After a well-earned break, he’s rejoined the flock with renewed firepower and a pair of strong wings to lift our alliance even higher.

His loyalty, strategic insight, and offensive brilliance have always been a cornerstone of our success and now he’s back with a tip that he wants the global battlefield to hear loud and clear:

❝If the airfields are placed in warship range, quickly spam the warships to take it out. Then use bombers to take out the camp with surrounding defenses around it. Finally, use 3 artillery to take out the rocket.❞

Tactical Breakdown

Let’s decode DEATHBRINGER’s offensive sequence:

  • Step 1: Warship Blitz If enemy airfields are within warship range, unleash a rapid wave of warships. Their speed and firepower can neutralize air threats before they launch.

  • Step 2: Bomber Sweep Once the airfield is down, deploy bombers to target the central camp and its surrounding defenses. Bombers excel at flattening clustered structures, clearing the path for ground units.

  • Step 3: Artillery Precision With defenses weakened, send in 3 artillery units to finish off the rocket installation. Artillery offers long-range, high-damage strikes—perfect for taking out hardened targets.

This combo is fast, efficient, and devastating. DEATHBRINGER’s return marks a new chapter for DUCKS, and we’re proud to fly with him once again.

Base Layouts Suitable for This Strategy

Not every base will fall to this method, but when the conditions are right, it’s devastating. Below are some sample layouts where DEATHBRINGER’s strategy can be effectively applied. These setups allow for optimal use of warships, bombers, and artillery in a coordinated strike.

That’s all for now, warriors. May your strikes be sharp, your defenses solid, and your wings always in formation. Happy playing, and wishing everyone a great Friday and an even better weekend ahead!
